Info
BUILDING'S FORM WAS INSPIRED BY THE IDEA OF A CREATING CENTRAL CORE AND FOYER AREA. CORRIDOR LENGTH WAS DECREASED ON THE BED FLOORS BY FORMING THREE DIFFERENT BRANCHES. EACH ROOM OVERLOOKS DIFFERENT VIEWS OF THE CITY WITHOUT BLOCKING EACH OTHER. THIS PLAN TYPOLOGY FORMED A COMPACT AND STRONG MASS ON THE 3RD DIMENSION, AND THE BUILDING BECAME AN ICON, WHICH CAN BE PERCEIVED FROM EVERY DIRECTION IN THE CITY. FACADE IS NOT ONLY PLAIN AND SIMPLE, BUT IT ALSO PRIORITIZES FUNCTIONALITY. FACADES OF CORNER ROOMS WERE DESIGNED WITH TRANSPARENT MATERIALS IN ORDER TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE LANDSCAPE TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT POSSIBLE.
